Privacy Policy

Little Puff · last updated 19 September 2026 (Game Center added)

Little Puff collects no data about you. It has no account or sign-in of its own. The only thing that ever leaves your iPhone is your best Competitive and Rally score, sent to Apple's Game Center, and only if you are signed in to Game Center.

What the game stores

On your iPhone only: your settings, your high scores (each with its score, the date and time, and the settings it was flown on), and your best score on each day's flight. Nothing else — no identifier and no play history.

This lives inside the game's own storage. Deleting the game deletes it. Like other app data it may be included in an iPhone backup you make yourself, to your own computer or your own iCloud account; that copy is yours and is not visible to me.

What the game does not do

Game Center

Little Puff has two Game Center leaderboards: your best Competitive flight and your best Rally. If you are signed in to Game Center on your iPhone, the game sends the score of each finished Competitive or Rally flight to Apple's Game Center so it can appear on those boards. Casual flights and today's flight are never sent.

Game Center is Apple's service, run under Apple's privacy policy. Other players see your Game Center nickname and score, as Game Center's own settings allow; I don't receive or keep any of it. If you are not signed in, or you sign out in the Settings app, nothing is sent. Parents can turn Game Center off or limit it with Screen Time.

Purchases

Little Puff is bought once, from the App Store. The purchase is handled entirely by Apple. I never see your payment details, and the game itself stores nothing about the transaction.

What Apple may show me

If you have chosen in your iPhone's settings to share analytics and crash reports with app developers, Apple may show me aggregate, anonymised statistics — how many people downloaded the game, and crash reports with no identity attached. That is Apple's mechanism, it is off unless you turned it on, and the game plays no part in it. It does not identify you.

Children

The game collects nothing from anyone, which includes children. There is nothing in it that could identify a child. Game Center, if a child's device is signed in to it, is Apple's service and follows Apple's rules and Screen Time settings for children's accounts.

Your rights

Rights to access, correct, export or delete personal data — under Canadian law, the GDPR, or anywhere else — apply to personal data that has been collected. None has been. There is no copy of anything about you to send you or to delete, and deleting the game removes everything it ever wrote.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of the game ever does something this page does not describe, this page changes first, and the date at the top changes with it.
