A hot-air balloon, and one button.

Questions people ask

How do I fly?

The balloon rises on its own. Press anywhere on the screen to open the flap at the top and let hot air out, and it sinks. Let go and it rises again. That is the only control.

If you would rather tap than hold, Settings has a Tap option: each touch lets out one puff.

What are the three modes?

How to play, on the first screen, has a page for each.

What is today's flight?

One sky for the day, the same for everyone, worked out on your phone from the date. Retry it as often as you like. Your best for each day is kept on the Today tab of the high scores.

There is no sound.

The game follows the ring/silent switch on the side of the phone. If the switch is set to silent, the game is silent. There is also a Sound setting inside the game.

How do I pause?

The pause button is at the top right while you fly. Leaving the app pauses the flight too.

Where are my scores kept?

Your high scores are kept on your iPhone. Deleting the app deletes them.

Game Center leaderboards

If you are signed in to Game Center, your best Competitive flight and your best Rally go on Game Center leaderboards, so you can see how you compare with other players. Open High scores, choose Competitive or Rally, and tap the leaderboard button. Casual flights and today's flight stay on your phone.

Not signed in? Open the Settings app, then Game Center. Nothing is sent unless you are signed in.

What does it need?

An iPhone running iOS 17 or later.

Purchases and refunds

Little Puff is bought once. There is no subscription, no advertising, and nothing else to buy inside it.

Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple rather than by me — the place to ask is reportaproblem.apple.com.

Privacy

The game collects nothing and has no account of its own. The only thing it sends is your Competitive and Rally best to Apple's Game Center, if you are signed in there. The whole policy is on the privacy page, and it is short.
